Terms of service
Last updated [DATE]
These terms are an agreement between you (or the organization you represent) and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] for the use of Team Memory.
1. The service
Team Memory connects to group chats you choose, uses AI to find decisions, ideas, promises and open questions, sends reminders, and shows the results in a dashboard, a phone app and connected AI assistants.
2. Your account and team
You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. The person who creates a team is its first owner and is responsible for who they invite and what they connect.
3. Connecting chats is your responsibility
Only connect chats you have the right to connect. You must tell the people in those chats that Team Memory takes notes there (Team Memory also announces itself in each chat it reads) and, where the law requires it, get their consent.
Don’t use Team Memory to monitor or score individual employees, or to process special categories of data such as health information.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t break the law, infringe others’ rights, try to access other teams’ data, overload or attack the service, or resell it without our written agreement.
You must also follow the terms of the chat apps you connect (Telegram, Slack, Discord, WhatsApp).
5. AI output
AI can be wrong or incomplete. Team Memory links every item to its source so you can check it. Don’t rely on it as the only record of important decisions.
6. Plans, payment and cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Plan; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period and then falls back to the free plan.
Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice. Except where the law requires, payments are not refundable.
7. Your data
You own your content. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy policy and, for business customers, the Data Processing Agreement (available on request at [LEGAL EMAIL]).
You can export or delete your data at any time. We delete it as described in the Privacy policy.
8. Our service
We own Team Memory and its software. We may improve or change features; if we remove a major feature of a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.
9. Availability and disclaimers
We work hard to keep Team Memory running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is".
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Team Memory and delete your team at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonable.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and disputes go to the courts of [COURTS]. If we change these terms we will post the new version here and notify owners of important changes. Contact: [LEGAL EMAIL].
